Britt here gots some tips to avoid being hacked
and what to do if you are.
-Never use a obvious password. Examples include
your name, your Social Security #, ect.
-Protect your password. (Duh.)
-Don't give out any personal information over
the Internet unless you know who you're dealing
with.
-NEVER CLICK ON LINKS SENT IN UNSOLICITED
MESSAGES, E-MAILS, OR NOTES.
-Know your friends.
-Use firewalls, anti-spyware, and antivirus
software to protect your computer. Update these
programs on a regular bases. Viruses don't
discriminate over what they infect.
IF YOUR PAGE HAS BEEN HACKED:
-Close any accounts that have been tampered with.
-Notify D.A. about the corrupted page(s). Ask
for verification that the disputed account(s)
have been closed.
-DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE(S) AGAIN.
